At Seeach Sod, we are witness to countless stories of families raising children with disabilities.
But over the past year, the stories have become even more heartbreaking. The war has impacted countless families, and this most vulnerable population – who struggles even in the best of times – is most drastically affected.
Many families evacuated from the North or South have found themselves homeless. The loss and confusion are enormous. They struggle to find a calm, quiet corner for their disabled child.
Seeach Sod quickly stepped in, establishing a system that provides an immediate safe place for children with disabilities. By expanding our respite center model so that it serves as a safe haven throughout the entire year, Seeach Sod developed solutions for changing needs, especially during the more challenging times such as holidays and vacations in the shadow of war.
Some of our activities are funded by the government offices, but a significant portion depends on your support. We need your help to give these precious, disabled children the security, peace, and proper care they so desperately need.
